Hot Meals

We are extremely proud of the fact that we are able to offer delicious and nutritious meals cooked right here at school especially for our children.

We have a rolling, three week menu. Each day we offer a meat or fish main course and a vegetarian main course; as well as a cooked pudding or fruit and yoghurt. Jacket potatoes are also available to order each day for days when you would like your child to have a hot meal, but they would rather not have either of the main options. For parents of children in Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6) we ask that meals are paid for in advance. Meals for KS2 children cost £2.50 per day.  KS1 are free. Please click on the link here to take you to the Tucasi website where you can order your child's meals.

Developing a Social, Emotional and Mentally Healthy School

As a school we are working hard to support all members of our community to feel supported in terms of Social, Emotional and Mental Health.

Please find below a useful link to support parents in this area.

Admission Arrangements

Admissions to our school are in line with the Local Authority admissions policy. SEND provision, the needs of looked after children, distance from the school and siblings at the school are taken into consideration if places are oversubscribed.

In common with schools across Somerset, admissions to the Reception year are administered by the Local Authority. Admissions during a school year and admissions to all other year groups are processed by the school.

We recognise the importance of starting a new school at any time and make every effort, in partnership with parents and the children, to ensure the settling in period is as easy as possible for all concerned.

Our planned admission number for each year group is 12 pupils. Click here to read the latest school prospectus.

Please note!

Where an application has been refused in any year group, the child will be placed on a waiting list. This will be kept strictly in order of oversubscription criteria by the Local Authority, as the Admission Authority, and the child will remain on the waiting list until the end of the academic year in which the application was refused. Parents are responsible for informing the Admission Authority of any changes in their circumstances, which could affect their place on the waiting list.

Our Inspire Sessions offer a chance for parents to work with their children and develop an understanding of our teaching methods.

If you would like to support your child in acquiring and developing mental maths skills, our school's mental calculation policy can help show you the skills required in each year. Please click here to read it.
