Our Summer Term  topic is based "Under the Sea." After visiting the Aquarium at Weston -super-Mare we are going to be basing all our work around sea creatures.

Come and have a look in our classrom at our display where we are making different creatures who live under the sea-all made with different types of effects and techniques.

We will be using key texts such as "Tiddler" "The Rainbow Fish" and "The Owl And The Pussy Cat" to help us learn how to write stories and inspire our imaginations.

We will also be using water in our maths lesson-measuring how far we can squirt it and estimating how many cups can be poured into different containers.

After half term we will be introducing "Wheelie Thursday" when children can bring a bike or trike to school.

An extra free trip will be planned to take the children to the fish counter at Tesco to see different types of sea creatures that are edible and learn which part of the world they come from.

We also will be singing songs that are based around the sea such as Yellow Submarine and the sound track to the Little Mermaid.
