Welcome to Ditcheat School

Posted on by

We would like to thank all the children, parents, carers, governors, staff and volunteers for all their work during these difficult times.  The way everyone has pulled together to support each other is indicative of the caring school that we are.

As of 8th June, our school extended provision to include key worker children, vulnerable children, reception, year 1 and year 6 children.  We hope to open the school to more children soon as we are missing you all.

While we are still putting work on our class pages, we are mainly communicating and sharing work through Tapestry.  Please check it regularly for updates.  We love seeing all of the children’s work and adventures on Tapestry so please continue to upload observations.

Our main concern is the well-being of our families and not how much work you can get done.  We want you to take care of yourselves and your loved ones and we hope to see you all very soon.

Please get in touch if you need any help or have any concerns that we may be able to help with.

Please see our most recent letter about extending provision from 19th June and a letter from Julian Wooster, Director of Children’s Services for Somerset.
